I have been making a few changes to my make up for the autumn and winter as the weather gets colder.
1. The first is a berry lipstick, my favourite is Kate Moss Rimmel Matte Lipstick in Shade 107. It is a great darker lip for colder months. I find it brings a new dimension in these cold winter months a sense of spontaneity if you will, and it is on trend for the colder months.
2. The second is that I change my bronzer from a Sun Shimmer Bronzer from Rimmel to the Natural Bronzer from Rimmel. I go from a golden bronzer to a more bronzed look. I think it is perfect for the colder months.
3. I also use my new corrector more in the winter months because my under eye area becomes darker. A corrector seriously helps to eliminate the darker circles alongside concealers. My corrector at the moment is Max Factor Yellow Under Eye Corrector.
4. I prefer a matte finish foundation during in the winter months, because it has a higher coverage for me personally. It helps to cover any blemishes that are common with winter and work with my moisturiser.
5. My new MUA palette is my perfect winter palette. It transfers really well from night to day. It also has the perfect amount of glitter and matte shadows and all for £4.

6 Beauty Brands I Love
I thought seen as I have tried out a lot of brands some I have liked and some I haven't liked as much. I thought I would share with you the beauty brands I love and continuously reach and repurchase and buy new things when they come out.
1. The Body Shop UK
I have loved this brand since I was 13 years old. I have tried so many of their products some have stuck and become my all time favourites and some I have just naturally out grown the need for. I buy near enough everything skincare from the Body Shop. You name I have probably tried it (except the make up I haven't had the chance to try out with an extensive collection already). I highly recommend most products from this brand. My holy grail product of the moment is the Dead Sea Salt Body Scrub from The Spa of the World range.
2. Wet and Wild Range
I admit I admire this brand from a far and I wish I could buy more of this brand, but it is only available in US drugstores such as Rite Aid, Walgreens and CVS, but I managed to snag a blush from this brand from Amazon. I have literally fallen in love with this blush. Please bring this brand to the UK so I can enjoy all your make up goodness.
3. Collection
I think that collection is a very similar brand. It is excellent quality all round makeup at low cost. I would love to try more after trying the lasting perfect concealer, which is also my holy grail product of the moment.
4. Simple Skincare
I can sum this up in five words simply superb for sensitive skin. It is the brand for all my quick skincare hacks and it does not break me out.
4. Simple Skincare

5. Rimmel London
I have a lot of this brand. The products are easy to apply and great value for money. A brand I keep returning to over and over. I have lipsticks, foundations, bronzers, powders and blush. I am planning on Doing maybe a Rimmel Gems and Stones post later on next month. If you are looking for your first drugstore brand, I cannot recommend Rimmel highly enough.
6. Lee Stafford
This is my hair care brand of the moment. They are formulated at a reasonable proce for the real life women to have salon hair everyday. I love it and this is a high recommendation from me because I'm very particular with my hair care. I have continuously buy this brand and wish it was available in more than Boots.

5 ways I stay Body and Mind beautiful
My confidence has took a bit of a nose dive particularly in regards to my body confidence, but I thought I would share with you five ways I have boosted my confidence through adapting my beauty and health routines.
1. I do my full skincare routine EVERY day.
2. I have at least 4 days with NO MAKE UP. It helps you realise that the make up mask isn't necessary makes you realise your own natural beauty points
3. I write all negative thoughts down in an app on my phone called Mood Kit. It helps me work through the negative to get to the positive.
4. I go for a walk with my fur baby girls. Endorphins help my confidence and they get that blood pumping.
5. I make sure I stick to my writing and blogging goals. Writing and blogging keep me focused on my wellbeing.
What are your ways of keeping your confidence up? I would love to know you can tweet me at MissKathrynAlison

1. Rimmel Long Lasting Lipsticks in Shades 058, 066 and 077
I love these lipsticks. They are long lasting. They have excellent pigmentation. They feel great on the lips. I have been known to mix the shades 066 and 077 for a darker shade. 058 is slightly more red pink undertones. I also love the luxurious packaging.
2. Max Factor Lipifinity Lipstick
I love the fact that this lipstick smells like sweeties. I love the colour. I love the pigmentation and the formula. They just feel so great
3. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in Shades 1 and 2.

4. Burt Bees Lip Balm.
The best lip balm I have ever used just wish they were everlasting.
5. Seventeen Cosmetics Brow Kit
This brow kit is easy to use. It includes a brow pencil, wax and setting powder and highlighting powder. It even has luxiourious packaging. It makes your brows look amazing.
6. Rimmel Blemish Concealer
I use this to cover up the dark blemishes near where my glasses are. I use the stick because it is easier to get in the edges of my nose.
7. Fleur De Force Lipgloss (Written in the Stars)
I love the colour. The feel on my lips. One of my lipglosses I keep reaching for. At the moment.
8. Fleur De Force Lunar Rose Eyeshadow Quad

Oh to be seventeen | ad
I was recently sent two products by SEVENTEEN cosmetics. I was sent their brow kit and one of their lip crayons.
First of all, the lip crayon. I am still working out whether I like lip crayons or not, but this one I have to say is very different to other ones I have tried. The reasons, the formulation which is very moisturising compared to other lip crayons I have tried. I think this seems to be due to the lip balm at the other end of the crayon.
The next product was their brow kit. This product has literally changed my brows for the better. They make them more defined. The kit is simple and easy to use. It comes with a brow pencil, setting wax and powder. It even comes with a set of tutorial instruction. This has actually made me think about looking at more brow products in the future.
Have you tried any seventeen products yourselves. I would love to know what you think about their products? Tweet me @MissKathrynAB or comment below.
Please note I was sent these items in kind by their PR team. Please feel free to read my disclaimer

1. Rimmel Long Lasting Lipsticks in Shade 066 and 077.
Not only do I love these two colours. I absolutely love the formulation, they are completely different to Kate Moss Nude and Normal Ranges. They are really pigmented and the packaging is just beautiful.
2. Kate Moss Range shades 43, 45, 08 and 35 and 01
I love the colours in this range. I love the formulation. I think they are one of the best drugstore lipsticks I have tried.
3. Apocalips in Shade Nova.
These lip lacquers are a new addition to my collection. They are long lasting and really pigmented. I have not seen anything really like it before. I would love to add some more to my collection.

These two are by far my favourite lip balms. They are really moisturising, the only downside is that the moisture feeling doesn't last long but the soft feeling lasts a lot longer. I love the Models Own purely for its bubblegum smell
5. Loreal Lip Glosses in Shades 104 and 306
I love the applicators and these lip glosses are the least sticky lip glosses I have ever tried. The lipglosses are also pigmented.
6. KIKO Lipsticks in Shade 501
These are the most creamiest lipsticks and are really pigmented, but they are not long lasting. However I do love the feel of these lipsticks on my lips.

Lip Product Addict Tag
I thought I would do a slightly different post. I am going to do a lip product addict tag post because I am an absolute lip product addict and my collection is continuously growing.
1. Favourite balm/treatment?
2. Best eye-catching red?
My most eye catching red lipstick at the moment is Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick Shade 01. It is easy to apply and wear I love putting it on. However, to be honest I do think there may be a better one out there for me but this is the best one at the moment
3. Best luxury & best drugstore?
My best luxury brand of lipstick that I have tried so far is tropic skincare and my lipstick is in the shade In bloom. My favourite drugstore brand of lipstick has to be Rimmel I have a lot of Rimmel lipsticks but my favourite shade is in 08.
4. Best MAC lipstick?
I do not own a MAC lipstick at the moment. I would love to purchase one in the future.
5. The most disappointing?
Maybelline Lipsticks they are quite drying on the lips but are okay if you use a lip balm or lip gloss before application. I am seriously thinking of letting go of some of the shades because they are just sitting in my drawer and not being used. I have also found I don't suit the hot pink shades.
6. Liner - yes or no?
Yes I do use a lip liner, but it is very rare and when I can be bothered. I have one that suits a lot of the lipsticks I use and it is from Helen E Cosmetics brand.
7. Best gloss?
My best lipglosses are the Loreal Lipglosses in Shades 104 and 306. I love the applicator in these glosses and I love the colour range of Lipglosses and the long lasting nature of the Lipglosses. I definitely looking to get more in the future.
8. Something extra!

August Fashion and Beauty Favourites
It is that time of the month of the time again - monthly favourites time. I have been trying a lot of new products this month from skincare to new make up to new items of clothing.

What have been your favourites this month? I would love to hear them, you can share them below or tweet me @MissKathrynAB or instagram me @misskathrynab.
Tops from Next
The first items are from Next. They are tops that can be easily dressed up and down really easy. I love the coral colour and the denim grey colour in the collection.

Mango Body Scrub from The Body Shop
I love this summer scrub, I think that this scrub's fruity smell is really the perfect scent for the summer. I haven't found a scrub that it has quite been effective. For example, I love the pink grapefruit scrub but it wasn't as effective as the mango one.
Vitamin C Daily Moisturer from The Body Shop
It is not just the smell I love of this product. I love the fact that it has a high SPF, but I also love the fact that you only need a minimal amount for your face. It is completely worth the money
Vitamin E Cleansing Wipes from The Body Shop
Perfect for travel and just as good as the bottle cleanser. This means less liquids in your suitcase or what I call a lazy treat.
Rimmel Natural Bronzer
I love the pigmentation. I love the fact that it is very easy to build up. It does not make me look orange which is always a plus because I a
KIKO Cosmetic Lipstick in Shade 501.
I love the formulation of this lipstick. It is so creamy. I also love the pigmentation of this lipstick too. The only difficulty of this lipstick is that it does not last long the one drink and it disappears. On a side note, I also love the packaging of this lipstick. It looks cute.
Black and White Jumper Shirt from Next.
I love this jumper shirt because of its versatility. It can be worn for an event or with leggings casually around the house. But above all it is comfortable style.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
I love this palette because it is long lasting shadows with a variety of colours which are easy to blend.

What's in my make up bag
I thought I would share with you what I currently store in my make up bag. I keep a small make up bag that could be used on overnight trip or a dash out the door, but I will admit most of the time I just carry my lipstick in my purse.
The items currently in my make up bag are
Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick in Shade 08 (nude colour - goes with everything)
Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick in Shade 08 (nude colour - goes with everything)
Rimmel Natural Bronzer
Collection bronzer palette
Rimmel BB cream in Light shade
My Urban Decay Naked 3 palette
A sponge to apply the BB cream
A spectrum brush
With the exception of my Urban Decay Naked 3 palette everything is stored in my little brown make up bag from Bloomingdales which I picked up when I was in New York last year.
I hope you liked reading about what's in my make up bag. Please share what you carry in your make up bag below in the comments, because I would love to know any of your recommendations.

Top 10 under £10 - Skincare and Haircare
I thought I would start a new series on my fashion and beauty. It is a series which has been written and filmed by other fashion and beauty bloggers. It is the Top 10 under £10 and the first one is going to be skincare and haircare.
1. Lee Stafford Frizz off Shampoo
2. Lee Stafford Frizz off Conditioner.
I have been using both these shampoos and conditioners for moths. They are really good. They have really soften my hair compared to my previous shampoos and conditioners.
3. Freederm Cleansing Wipes
Great for dealing with spots on the go or as soon as you see one.
4. Lee Stafford Dehumidifying Spray
I love this product. It can be used when I am straightening my hair, when I am hot and bothered and after excerise or on second day hair. I never knew a product to have so many uses.
5. Simple Exfoliating Wipes
A great way to exfoliate your face when you are travelling or on the go.
6. Vitamin E Cleansing Wipes
They are just as effective as the bottle cleanser from the same range. These are perfect for travel because they give a really deep cleanse and take your make up off effectively but without the liquid.
7. Simple Cleansing Wipes
All I can say is easy simple but effective, great for when you are on the go and you don't want a deep cleanse.
8. Vitamin E Cleanser from The Body Shop
9. Vitamin E Toner from The Body Shop
These are my first proper skincare products I have ever bought and I have kept using every day. I love them. The cleanser takes off my makeup really easily. The toner is really refreshing.
10. Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion
I love this lotion. It has a great feel on the skin. It gives the skin a really silky feel. It is not too sticky unlike other lotions and body butters I have tried. I also love the Fuji Green Tea Body Lotion too which I love and costs the same as the Wild Argan Oil Body Lotion.
Have you got a favourite skincare and haircare product for under £10? Please comment down below.

London Beauty Haul August 2015
I recently went to London for a few appointments recently. Of course I had to hit Oxford Street for a little shopping even if it was a little bit of mad dash, but I thought I would share with you guys what I bought.
Urban Decay Naked 3 Palette
My Grandma and Grandad very kindly gave me a little money as a present for graduating university. I am so grateful for them. I had my eye on the Naked palettes from Urban Decay. One of the ones I kept coming back to was the Naked 3 palette. Look out for a review and looks with this palette over the coming months.
You get a week worth of eye primer too which I think is rather cool. I think it is going to be exciting to see the difference between the eye shadows with the primer and without the primer.
KIKO Lipstick in Shade 501
I have been hearing about the brand KIKO Cosmetics from watching beauty YouTube videos. However as with any new brand of cosmetic I am always nervous to try purely because I have sensitive skin. So I thought I would start with a lipstick. All I can say is that I love the creamy feel on my lips. It actually smells amazing too. Added bonus.
Pink Grapefruit Body Scrub from The Body Shop
Just because it is pink and I love pink.
Mango Body Scrub from The Body Shop
Just because I love the mango.
Vitamin C Daily Moisturiser
I have been interested in the Vitamin C range at the Body Shop. I thought I would start trying out the range and I am starting with the daily moisturiser after reorganising my beauty supplies. I can't wait to try this.
Vitamin E Cleansing Wipes
I love the Vitamin E Range having previously loved the cleanser and toner from the same range. I couldn't wait to try the cleansing wipes for when I am on the go.
Have you bought any new beauty supplies recently? Comment below and let me know what you bought.

Drugstore Haul (Boots)
I went into Boots last month to pick up a few things. I thought I would share them with you all.
The first is the Collection Gorgeous Glow. I love this Shimmer Bronzer. I have worn it for both day and night. When I wore it during the day it was for my graduation. So, It is more ideal for a formal day occasion.
The next items are from the Kate Moss Rimmel Lipstick Range. I already loved the Kate Moss lipsticks and I wanted to try some more nudes specifically those from her new nude range which were brought out earlier this year.
The last item is the Rimmel Natural Bronzer. It is perfect for day looks and it is perfect for day looks.
If you want to see my make up haul from London. Please check out my blog on Monday. Please let me know what you have been buying down below.

Clothing Haul
I recently did some shopping not only for graduation but for a wardrobe update as well. It includes the alternative dress for graduation. You already know that I went with the navy dress for my actual graduation but I had an alternative yellow dress from New Look.
Have you bought anything recently? Please feel free to share photos below.
I also got some items off ASOS. The first was a coral dress with cream lace and a nude coloured shirt.
I also got some shirts and tops from Next. The first two are of the same type and material, but the first colour is denim blue colour and the second is coral pink colour. The third I really liked because of the style and the whirt shirt out the bottom of the black crop top jumper style. It looks cute and probably my favourite piece of this haul alongside my graduation dress.
Have you bought anything recently? Please feel free to share photos below.
